Tuition and Fees 2008-2009

Kindergarten through 8th Grade

Registration:  $300
Registration includes textbooks, workbooks, classroom supplies, technology fees, and yearbook.
 
Tuition:  $5,000
 
Discounts:
            2nd Child (based on grade order):  5%
            3rd Child (based on grade order):  10%
            UTA employee:  10%
            Referral:  10% if the new student stays through January 5
            Full Tuition Paid by June 1:  $100
 
Activity Fee:  $30 per activity (includes Athletics, PSIA competition, Destination Imagination)

FACTS Tuition Management
 
Snack Trolley:  Each day our Jr. High students practice math application skills by conducting a small business known as the Snack Trolley.  Students who would like to make purchases from the Snack Trolley will need to bring money to school for that purpose.
 
Fun Friday Lunches:  Each Friday we order lunches from local restaurants for a change of pace in the lunch routine for students.  Order forms are sent home monthly to be returned with payment to the school office. 
 
Extended Care:  GLS provides Extended Care before and after school as a convenience for working parents. The program operates on days when school is in session, from 7:00-8:00am and from 3:30-6:00pm.  Children who arrive before 8:00am or remain on the school grounds after 3:30pm, will be placed in the Extended Care program and appropriate fees will apply.  The Before School rate is $3.00 per day per child and the After School Rate is $3.00 per hour per child.  The Extended Care program closes promptly at 6:00 p.m.  Children that are not picked up by 6:00 p.m. will be charged $1.00 per child per minute until the parent/guardian arrives. 
 
Field Trips:  Educational and cultural field trips are taken regularly by our classes; families will be notified of the cost of each trip in advance.
 
Dress Code-Appropriate Clothing and Spirit Shirts
 
Supplies: With the exception of most textbooks, school supplies are the responsibility of the student. School supply lists will be available in the office by the end of May 2008.
