    Description:
    The Audio Team Leader manages the audio components in the main sanctuary in order to maintain a distraction-free environment for worship, small groups and ministry events. General Requirements: -Have a growing, authentic, struggling relationship with Christ. -Respectful of others time. -Attend all team meetings. -Show up on time at all scheduled events. (If you are going to be late, call your team leader or another team member) -Supportive of leadership – following Biblical model for conflict resolution -Familiarize yourself with the Leadership Devotional. (Pursue a coaching or discipling relationship; in some form of structured accountability small group, affinity group, etc.) -Create a weekly volunteer service schedule using www.planningcenteronline.com. -Oversee training of new audio team recruits. -Lead team meetings to improve audio quality. -Monitor weekend service audio quality. -New team members are asked to be a part of a "proving period" for approximately 3 months before serving solo to demonstrate their call, their ability to be consistent and show solid commitment to the ideals of the team. -From time to time we will have open positions that will need to be filled immediately- in that event, qualified volunteers will be placed in positions prior to proving period completion. -Use conflict resolution principles to resolve conflicts. Time Requirement: Primarily on weekends. Varies according to schedule. Typical service times are as follows: 4p-8p on Saturday and 7a-1p on Sunday.

    The Worship Arts Ministry exists to educate, lead and encourage the authentic worship of Jesus Christ during weekend services, special events and other worship ministry opportunities. General Requirements: -Have a growing, authentic, struggling relationship with Christ. -Respectful of others time. -Attend all team practices. -Show up on time at all practices. (If you are going to be late, call your worship leader or another team member) -Supportive of leadership – following Biblical model for conflict resolution -Familiarize yourself with the Leadership Devotional. (Pursue a coaching or discipling relationship; in some form of structured accountability – small group, affinity group, etc.) -From time to time we will have "fill-in" opportunities to serve that will be used on an "as-needed" basis. -For all others, new team members are asked to be a part of a team for approximately for 3 months before going on stage to demonstrate their call, their ability to be consistent and show solid commitment to the ideals of the team. -New or prospective vocal members need to be able to do the following in order to audition: sing by themselves (lead out) and harmonize. -New or prospective instrumental members need to be able to do the following in order to audition: read chord/lead charts and play their instrument proficiently. -Dress appropriately for worship services. Casual wear? Yes. Mini-skirts, revealing tops and men's speedos? Definitely No. :-( Remember, you are representing your team, the worship ministry at YC and most importantly Jesus when you stand on stage. Time Requirement: 4p-8p on Saturday and 7a-1p on Sunday, including any practice times during the week. Auditions: Auditions for instrumentalists are reviewed by Annette Macias and Matt Shumaker. Auditions for vocalists are reviewed by Alicia Bohlke and Matt Shumaker.
