    Description:
    Looking for a way to get involved in the E91 ministry? Have administrative skills? We are in need of two volunteers to serve by providing administrative support in our church office. Ideal volunteers will be detail-oriented, proficient in Microsoft Office, and have excellent organizational and relational skills. Time commitment is 12-15 hours per week. This is a great opportunity to serve and help meet some of the basic needs of our ministry and church family.     Description:
    Do you have a friendly smile, a cheerful voice, and a willingness to be helpful in the midst of distractions? If so, the front desk could use your help as a substitute for their regular volunteers. Duties include answering multiple phone lines and receiving guests at our Information Center. At times, other ministry areas of the church may also request your help. Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel would be helpful.     Description:
    As a part of our Community Life strategy, we are working toward providing numerous LifeGroups in all of our surrounding areas where you can learn, grow, and serve in your own community. To accomplish this, we need more individuals who can help lead these groups. To learn how you can become a LifeGroup leader, please start by attending one of our Spiritual DNA workshops where you will learn how God has uniquely designed you to serve in His kingdom. After the workshop, you will work your way through the leadership process which includes membership, a one on one interview and a leader application.     Description:
    Did you know that there is a team composed of medical professionals who volunteer to provide emergency medical coverage during worship services on Sunday mornings? This group includes EMT’s, Paramedics, RN’s, Physicians, Oral Surgeons, etc. We are always looking for more helpers to ensure the health and safety of our members and visitors. Lisa Heiden-Peters and Eric Smith coordinate people and resources for the Medical Team.     In Security we could use the help of any police officers, firemen or military people as well as individuals interested in helping to protect our flock. If you have loved ones here you want them safe from satan’s touch, we could use your eyes, ears, and those of you trained - your knowledge to help in this way. Training will be part of this service and a background check will be done and has been done on all members of this team. God gave us all talents to be used in serving His Kingdom.     Serve by accompanying people up into the baptistery. On an optional, as-needed basis, you will help them prepare for their baptism by showing them where things are and will pray over them for their step of obedience. This will assist the pastor who is performing the actual baptism.

    KidsWorld Large Group/Drama Team
    Description:
    Help deliver preplanned Bible lessons in creative and exciting ways. Great for those who love acting! Weekly Time commitment: 1-2 Sundays a month. The teaching/storytelling portion of the weekly “large group” program takes only about 15 minutes on a Sunday morning, and does not have to be EVERY Sunday, but could be once or twice a month OR “month on (every Sunday) & month off (no Sundays).” Storytellers would receive the lesson 1-2 weeks ahead of time to review and have the flexibility to adapt the story to their own teaching style. The first (8:45) and third (11:30) worship services would be to a group of only about 20-30 children, but the 10:15 service would be to a group of 40-50 children (Pre-K/K) or 100-120 children (1st – 4th graders). People interested in teaching the Bible story would get some training and time to watch other teachers “in action.”

Join the team or renew your membership and receive your assigned item, team member card, and email updates.

    Midwest Food Bank Dates and Times Vary (Call for availability) Volunteer time is needed to fight hunger at Midwest Food Band, 6450 S Belmont St, Indianapolis, IN 46217. Volunteers are invaluable to the mission of Midwest Food Bank. Examples of volunteer opportunities include preparing disaster relief boxes, repackaging bulk foods for distribution and supporting local pantries.     Solomon's Wardrobe Clothing Ministry
    Description:
    E91’s clothing ministry has been in existence for over 20 years and continues to grow. Its mission is to glorify the Lord by dis­tributing donated clothing and household goods to those in need from our church, our community, and overseas. A dedicated team of volunteers meets weekly to sort donations and fill requests from individuals and families (including released prisoners and disaster victims), social service and ministry organizations, and missions groups. The Solomon’s Wardrobe team also functions as a small group for fellowship and prayer support. This effective ministry helps all of us be good stewards of our possessions by providing a way to give our clean, gently used clothing and household goods to those in need.     Description:
    Sundays at Miller’s Manor Assisted Living and Hearth at Windermere This ministry is a complete worship service with a message, music and communion for the residents of this assisted living facility.     Description:
    We would like to extend an opportunity for you to share in a very special ministry by serving home communion to our shut-ins. Because of this ministry, our homebound members feel like they are still a part of the church body. This is a wonderful ministry where husbands, wives and children can serve together and requires only a four time per year commitment. This ministry is such a blessing to those who can no longer attend Sunday worship and is a privilege to be able to serve our Lord through giving to others.     Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver meals to homebound individuals to promote independent living. No cooking is involved. You pick up meals at Community North Hospital or American Village Healthcare Center and deliver to people in that general vicinity.
