Lead Ushers assume responsibility for a variety of important duties before, during and after the services. Ushers serve regularly each month for a specific duration of time as indicated on the master schedule. They report to the Service Coordinator. Specific responsibilities could include: Welcome people as they both enter and ™™exit the Worship Center Hand out ™™The Weekly and other materials before, during and after the services as directed by Head Usher and/or Service Coordinator Serve as the “eyes and ears” in the Worship ™™Center, communicating to the Service Coordinator any logistical information regarding the room condition Work as a team to guide guests to available ™™seats Open and close the main Worship Center ™™doors at appropriate times, to maximize the flow of people and minimize distractions during the service Work in organized teams to collect the ™™offering Communicate to Head Usher or Service ™™Coordinator questions or concerns regarding your area of responsibility Attend initial training, as well as any ™™follow-up training specific to this responsibility
