The Get Connected & Newcomer Hosts are known for their outgoing and quick thinking personalities. They provide an essential service to all who attend Walnut Hill, meeting and greeting newcomers, answering questions regarding what’s going on and how to “Get Connected” at Walnut Hill. A love of people and a longing for them feel at home at Walnut Hill is the desire of these accommodating volunteers. • provide & distribute information including newcomers gift bags while obtaining contact info for follow up • answer questions or re-direct inquiries • assist those seeking opportunities for ministry, service & spiritual growth • help with sign-ups, presentation materials, table set-up & break-down • assist with organizing and hosting newcomer gatherings as determined by Derby Leadership Team
